how great Thou art!!

Ezekiel 1:4-5
4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,
5 and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures.



Ezekiel 1:26-28
26 Above the expanse over their heads was what looked like a throne of sapphire, [f] and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.
27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.
28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

How awesome is that!! (read the whole chapter for full awesome effect).. recently God has been revealing Himself to me as a mighty, holy n awesome God.. just last week we were talking bout the holiness of God.. i was reminded on how holy and powerful our God really is (not that we can truly grasp it) n it was then that i come to realise how guilty, vile n totally helpless i am.. how silly i was to question God bout His ways.. how prideful i was to put myself higher than i ought to, in fact to even put myself in the picture!!


so anw, yesterday during sunday bible study we had a sharing session n we briefly shared how biology/physics/chemistry/maths/whatever made us truly appreciate Him as the mighty Creator..

win shean: u c ah, physics ah.. .. .. ..(some nerdy, boring stuff, u don wanna know).. .. so through physics we can really c how great God is as a Creator (he said something like that lah, i was too bz preparing my points for bio so wasn't really listening :p )

hazel: i appreciate God when i do maths.. "God help me!!"
(i feel u sista!! biology still rocks more than physics btw :p )


then that night during gospel meeting we saw God as the mighty One who created all the gigantic, beautiful stars and planets.. yet He paid so much attention and details on us humans itself.. oh btw 1 interesting thing i learnt that night was bout laminin!! yeah laminin's awesone!! (so.. .. .. wat's laminin? google it lah) it's a glycoprotein that sorta holds our cells together n bla bla bla.. (really, google it plz!! must must see the picture!! i dont care!! n u say bio's boring?) so basically there r like millions of these little crosses inside our body, holding us together, how awesome's our God!!


col 1:15-20
15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

psalm 8:3-5
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings [c] and crowned him with glory and honor.


n so wat shall we say to our beloved Lord n Savior?


jude 1:24-25
24 To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—
25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
