let's go to the zoo!!

just a lil update to those who dono wat m i doing with my hols.. i'm currently doing my industrial training in the zoo!! yes zoo negara!! there, the 1 in kl ah.. well it's been a month plus now n i'm having the time of my life!! ya, i'm studying biotech n ya, i dono wat has biotech gotta do with training in the zoo.. but it was on the list so i grabbed it lah!! haha 19 of my other coursemates grabbed it too n we're really enjoying our time (well better than lots of our other friends training in other places.. heard it's very boring there)

anyway 20 of us separated ourselves into 2 groups, 10 of them training in the bird house n another 10 of us in the hospital.. our official job in the hospital is to look at shit.. haha really!! we're supposed to collect samples of faeces fr diff animals n observe under the microscope for parasite eggs.. doesn't sound that fun rite? but we also do many other fun things that're not related to biotech.. to summarise our experiences so far, we've been following the vet around treating the animals, ride behind the lorry to deliver food arond the zoo, play mother figure to infant animals in the hospital, hang out in the post mortem room n play surgeons (hey we actually get to cut the bodies up!!) and so on.. everyday's an exciting new day coz we dono wat to expect.. but when there's nothing to do (meaning the animals r fine n healthy), we either lepak in the hospital n play chor tai ti, gossip with the staff n drs, play ping pong in the canteen, walk around the zoo, or if we feel hardworking we'll help out in the kitchen where we chop fruits n stuff.. not to show off or anything but i've become very skilled in cutting carrots!! muahaha!!

well rite now we only have 3 more weeks of training left.. .. so sad.. .. no more free visit to the zoo, no more access to certain prohibited areas, no more kap-cai-ing the cool dr.. .. .. haih.. .. .. anyway, whoever's very free this school hol, come visit me in the zoo ya!!
